After 25 years Miranda has decided to step back from BuryILD.

Miranda can remember when we only had £500 in the account, only a handful of staff and two supported living locations. Well after all these years and the increased workload, she has decided to hand the charity finances over to someone else. In her time with the charity she has protected our financial wellbeing, been a true and dedicated friend to our supported people as well as headed up a Contact Group for over 15 years.

This picture here was taken last year when she decided to abseil down Peel Tower in a freezing March wind to raise funds for Contact. Overall that event raised over £2,000 and for those who know Miranda, Robert Peel is a significant person in her history and this made the event all the more meaningful.
